OL rename streets in Lyon to Lacazette for their arrival / France / Olympique lyonnais /

The best announcement from a general in a month of June?

For the return of its child prodigy, Olympique Lyonnais saw things big in terms of communication. This Thursday morning, the inhabitants of the capital of Gaul were surprised to see that the squares, streets or avenues in the name of generals were replaced, for the occasion, by the name of Alexandre Lacazette.

OL had also made sure in the early morning to unfurl large banners in the city, announcing that “General Lacazette” was back, a nickname that has followed him since his stoic celebration after his fabulous goal in the last minute of the eighth first leg of the Europa League, against Roma in 2017.
