Dubai: The 51st National Day of Oman was celebrated in a colorful manner at the Expo 2020 venue. The ceremonies began with a parade on Horizon Avenue in the city this morning. Later, a meeting and discussion was held between the distinguished guests from Oman and the UAE delegation. Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister Syed Azad bin Tariq Al Saeed was the chief guest.
Ishaq Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the UAE, received Syed Azad bin Tariq, who arrived in the UAE on behalf of the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq. The Oman delegation was received at the Dubai International Airport.
Sheikh Mansour praised the progressive brotherhood between the two countries. On the 51st National Day, he congratulated the leadership and people of Oman. He wished them further progress and prosperity under the prudent leadership of Sultan Haitami. Later, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, accompanied the Oman delegation to the UAE pavilion in the Expo City. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council; Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan, Advisor to the President of the UAE; UAE Ambassador to Oman Mohammed Sultan Al Suwaidi Syed Ahmed bin Hilal Ala Busaydi also participated.
