Online conference for caring relatives in Austria: The program from 24.-26.01.

Two Next inclusion brings socially highly relevant topic into focus

Vienna (OTS) The taboo topic of care and the concrete challenges for caring relatives are the subject of the first conference from different perspectives “Prospects and potential for caring relatives”.
The conference has been running since Thursday (January 20) and will be held online via Zoom until Wednesday (January 26) at off-peak times. Participants from the social sector, science and the private sector as well as stakeholders, digitization visionaries and – last but not least – those directly affected will discuss. One focus is on low-threshold digital support services.

Online panels on “Proximity at a Distance. When relatives are cared for at a distance” and “Work and care. Your own professional activity between additional burden and moment of relief”.

The network behind the conference: The conference is supported by Freirad and ERSTE Foundation. It is part of the project “Innovation network to relieve caregiving relatives in Austria”. This project is implemented by Two Next inclusion, Caritas of the Archdiocese of Vienna, Lebenshilfe Soziale Diensten, Ludwig Boltzmann Institute Digital Health and Patient Safety and semanticlabs GmbH. This project is funded by the National Foundation for Research, Technology and Development and carried out as part of the Laura Bassi 4.0 program with the kind support of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs (BMDW).
