(CercleFinance.com) – Orange announces the launch of Orange Santé in Côte d’Ivoire, an e-health platform aimed at patients, doctors and healthcare establishments alike. This launch is carried out in partnership with DabaDoc, a Moroccan start-up in which Orange has invested and which has proven itself in the Maghreb for 8 years.
Orange Santé must allow users to access several services such as online appointment booking, payment for remote consultations by the diaspora, digitized medical records or teleconsultation.
Other innovative services will gradually complete the system by 2023, assures Orange.
As of this summer, Côte d’Ivoire will be the first country in sub-Saharan Africa to benefit from the Orange Santé platform with online appointment booking. The launch of the platform in other countries in sub-Saharan Africa is planned for 2023.
