Hyundai Creta Prime 1.5 IVT
Otomotifnet.com – Hyundai Creta is claimed to be well received in the Indonesian automotive market.
“Hyundai Creta received a very positive response from the Indonesian people and exceeded our expectations,” said Astrid Ariani Wijana, General Manager of the HMID Department (25/6/2022).
According to data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (GAIKINDO), wholesales or sales from factories to Hyundai Creta dealers starting in January 2022, have recorded 7,654 units as of May 2022.
Even though the number of orders for Creta so far is said to have reached 11,000 units, after being introduced in November 2021.
Because the number of orders is higher than the stock at the dealer, consumers also have to pivot to get this Compact Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) from South Korea.
“For some types there are pivots, the waiting time will depend on the exterior color and interior combination,” said the woman who is familiarly called Astrid.
Based on GAIKINDO data, the most expensive variant of the Hyundai Creta, namely Prime IVT Two Tone, became the best-selling during the period January to May 2022 with 2,831 units.
Then followed by the Prime Single Tone (1,929 units), Style (1,591 units), Trend IVT (1,099 units), Trend MT (122 units), and the Active MT variant (82 units).
Astrid added that her party really appreciates the enthusiasm of the Indonesian people for the first Hyundai product which was produced locally in Cikarang, West Java.
“Hyundai as a customer-centric brand will continue to meet the needs of our customers who are spread across various regions in Indonesia,” he concluded.
