Police in Osh have launched an investigation into the death of a three-year-old child who, according to relatives, fell into a well. This was reported to Kloop by the city police.
Earlier, human rights activist Nazgul Turdubekova reported that a three-year-old child could have been killed in the village of Japalak, Osh region. She claims that the child died on March 19, and the reason, according to relatives, was a fall into a well.
“The relatives didn’t tell the police, they took me to the hospital in an ambulance, where the doctors for some reason didn’t record it and didn’t report it to the police. The boy was buried two hours later. But early in the morning, the child’s uncle called the father in Moscow and said that he had killed his child, that he could not do anything with him, and that he was intoxicated. Now the relatives do not give the child’s body for exhumation, so as not to torture … The question is: why did the relatives or doctors not immediately inform the police?” the human rights activist asks.
After Turdubekova’s post, the police in Osh reported that the investigation was ongoing, and its results would be provided later.
