Parvesh Verma: Shaheen Bagh will be erased within an hour if BJP forms a government in Delhi, says Parvesh Verma | Delhi News

NEW DELHI: The ongoing protests in Shaheen Bagh will come to an end within an hour if BJP forms the government in Delhi, BJP Parvesh Verma parliamentarian said Tuesday.
“If the BJP forms the government on February 11, a single person will not be found in (the place of protest) Shaheen Bagh,” Verma said during a meeting in the constituency of the Vikaspuri assembly.

“If our government is formed, give me one month after February 11 and I will eliminate all the mosques built on government lands in my Lok Sabha constituency,” added the BJP parliamentarian.
“Lakhs of people gather there (Shaheen Bagh). The people of Delhi will have to think and make a decision. They will enter their homes, rape their sisters and daughters and kill them. Today there is time, Modiji (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) and Amit Shah will not come to save you tomorrow. It will be much better if the people of Delhi wake up today, “Verma told ANI.
The BJP deputy from West Delhi claimed that Shaheen Bagh protesters could harm Delhi residents and urged people to wake up “as long as there is time.”
“Arvind Kejriwal says he is with Shaheen Bagh and also Manish Sisodia. People know that a fire enveloped Kashmir in which their mothers and sisters were raped. This happened in Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Hyderabad,” Verma said.
Protests have been ongoing in different parts of the country, including Shaheen Bagh in the national capital, against the amended Citizenship Act (CAA) that grants citizenship to Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, parsis, Buddhists and Christians fleeing the religious persecution of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh if they entered India on December 31, 2014 or earlier.
