Paul Pogba back at Juventus, all that’s missing is the signature

Free this summer, the 29-year-old tricolor international will return to the Turin club, which he left six years ago.

The “Pogback” is on. Six years after leaving for Manchester United, Paul Pogba, free at the end of last season, is back at Juventus. It’s not official yet, and it won’t be official before the beginning of July, but according to Fabrizio Romano, everything is closed between the 29-year-old French international and the Piedmontese club. All that remains is to sign… Pogba’s return to Juve has been widely discussed for several weeks. As is now the custom in the transfer window, multiple sources have “confirmed” the information of the Italian journalist in stride.

Passed by Torcy – club of his native Seine-et-Marne – and Le Havre, Paul Pogba had joined Manchester United for the first time in 2009, before spinning in Turin in 2012. The Old Lady sold him to the Red Devils for 105 M€ in 2016, to better recover him free in 2022. He comes out of a season that is complicated to say the least, between reduced playing time and repeated injuries. Pogba has made just 27 appearances in the 2021-22 campaign (1 goal, 9 assists).
