JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Secretary General (Secretary General) of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) DPP Hasto Kristiyanto asked ministers in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet not to participate in pushing for the discourse of postponing the election.
He then reminded the ministers to work according to their respective duties, principals, and functions (tupoksi).
In fact, Hasto said that if there are ministers who still insist on promoting the discourse of postponing the election, it is considered that they do not understand the government’s constitution.
“The minister who continues to insist on speaking outside his authority does not understand the nature of our constitution,” said Hasto, as reported by the Reporter. Compass TV Gratia Adur, Sunday (27/3/2022).
Remembering he said, the president and vice president can only serve a maximum of two terms as stipulated in the 1945 Constitution.
PDIP, he continued, acknowledged that Indonesia’s constitution was not yet perfect, but currently the focus of all elements of the nation was to prioritize the interests of the people.
“Even though PDIP knows that our constitution is not perfect, but the priority scale of the city is to help the people first,” he said.

Previously, the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Panjaitan had claimed to own 110 million big data regarding support for the postponement of the 2024 General Election.
