Given the measure ordered by the Executive Power on the return to mandatory social immobilization on Sundays to avoid more infections by COVID-19, the Municipality of Lima announced the new schedules of the Metropolitan buses and complementary corridors.

According to the capital commune, this schedule applies from this Sunday, August 16, for people who will need to travel that day. For the Metropolitan, the schedule will be as follows:

  • Regular services A, B and C will operate from 5:30 am to 10:00 am and from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, on their usual routes.
  • The doors of the stations and terminals will close at 10:00 am and 9:00 pm, in order to control the flow of users.

Complementary Corridors

In the case of complementary corridors, they will operate from 5:30 am to 10:00 am and from 4:00 pm. at 9:00 pm, on their frequent routes.

The Municipality of Lima urged citizens to leave home only if it is strictly necessary, and recalled that the use of a mask and face shield is mandatory in public transport.

Likewise, when entering the stations or waiting for the buses at the stops, they must maintain a minimum distance of one and a half meters, and follow the instructions of the Protransporte staff.
