Peru’s new president Dina Boluarte announced her new government following the ousting of former president Pedro Castillo as protests continue from her supporters demanding her release and new elections. The new government has 19 ministers, including eight women. The former anti-corruption prosecutor Pedro Angulo was appointed prime minister. Demonstrations and roadblocks have been underway in Lima and other cities in the country since last Thursday.
