Today (22/11), however, after 9:00 a.m., a group of foreigners was detected. They traveled in two passenger cars. The uniforms stopped them at a gas station. Eight police police cars appeared on the spot.

– Police officers detained 2 people in connection with assisting in illegal border crossing. The detainees are citizens of Uzbekistan. They wanted to transport 8 Iraqi citizens in skoda, says Justyna Janowska from the City Police Headquarters in Łomża.

Unofficially, it is also said that one of the drivers may have been under the influence of drugs. However, the uniformed officers did not confirm these reports due to the fact that activities with the detainees were carried out all the time. After the end of the police proceedings, the men will be handed over to the border guards.

35-year-old and 21-year-old citizens of Uzbekistan sat behind the wheels of two skates on Masovian license plates.

Police found one of the eight Iraqis in a passenger car locked in a trunk. The men were exhausted, hungry and thirsty. The uniforms gave them water to drink, and after being transported to the headquarters building, they also provided a hot meal. None of the passengers needed medical assistance and they were eventually handed over to Border Guard officers. The drivers were taken to police arrest and their cars to the evidence parking lot. Now they will be responsible for helping to cross the border illegally.
