Emmanuelle Peyvel has been a lecturer in geography at the University of Western Brittany (UBO – Geoarchitecture, EA 7462) since 2011. Her research focuses on globalization, through the study of tourist mobility. His thesis, published by ENS editions, focuses on domestic tourism in Vietnam, seen from a postcolonial perspective. She is particularly interested in the learning of mobility skills in tourists and the tactics they deploy to realize their projects. First developed in Vietnam, where she teaches regularly, this axis is now nourished by work on the coast, as part of a program on sea classes. Emmanuelle Peyvel is also co-director, with Nicolas Bernard , from the Tourism master’s degree, Management of coastal tourist activities and structures course.
