Platinum Games Unveils Futuristic Action Adventure "Astral Chain" • Eurogamer.net

Nintendo has unveiled Astral Chain, a new futuristic action romp developed by Platinum Games, which will be exclusive to Switch on August 30 this year.

Astral Chain is led by Takahisa Taura, senior game designer at Nier: Automata, with Hideo Kamiya of Platinum taking on a supervisory role. The focus is on a unit of the police special forces and their "humanoid special weapon" Legion, which stands for the protection of a strikingly designed "multicultural futuristic city".

You can get a quick taste of Astral Chain finding exploration and action-packed battles, as well as Masakazu Katsura's character designs in the trailer below.

There is not much to report on Astral Chain at the moment, but there is obviously plenty of time left for Nintendo to complete the full disclosure before Switch's launch on August 30.
