This tariff increase only applies to households with power above 3,500 Volt Ampere (VA) and the ruling class.

As for the government group, only P1, P2 and P3.

For P2 of 36.61 percent.

Then for the group that did not experience an increase, namely business and industrial customers.

It is known, electricity tariffs for non-subsidized customers should follow the mechanism of tariff adjustment every 3 months.

However, since 2017 or for the past five years, the government has not made any tariff adjustments.

However, the price of energy commodities continues to increase.

Recently, along with the increase in commodity prices, a number of macroeconomic indicators that serve as indicators for adjusting the basic electricity tariff have also increased.

In addition, the higher the gap between the current electricity tariff and the economic price, the tariff adjustment will be applied as of July 1st.
