The Pokemon Go Evolving Stars event is an extension of the Season of Light that will celebrate the phenomenon of Pokemon evolution and put the spotlight on Cosmog, as well as a popular Mega Pokemon. Additionally, Pokémon Go Trainers will also have event-exclusive Field Research to complete and certain Pokémon to catch.
Hopefully, this handy guide will help all Pokémon Go trainers navigate the Evolving Stars event in its entirety.
The Evolving Stars event in Pokemon Go starts on Wednesday, October 5 at 10 a.m. local time until Tuesday, October 11 at 8 p.m. local time.
How to get Cosmoem in Pokémon Go
The Season of Light brought the Legendary Pokémon Cosmog to Pokémon Go. Trainers who complete the A Cosmic Companion Special Research story will be rewarded with the little Psychic-type Pokémon.
But, as Pokémon fans know, Cosmog can evolve. In fact, it can evolve several times and in various ways. With the start of the Evolving Stars event, trainers will finally be able to evolve Cosmog into its intermediate stage, Cosmoem.
To evolve your Cosmog, trainers must use 25 Cosmog Candy on the Pokémon. This new psychic type won’t be able to evolve into its final form yet, but we assume that will be saved for another time.
Also, if you’re worried about the Cosmog evolution you have, Niantic has teased that trainers will be able to catch more Cosmog in the future. So stay tuned.
