Post-migration ‘LGBT ideology’: why Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán is going to confront the EU

In 2015, he profiled himself on the theme of migration. At a time when hundreds of thousands of refugees were moving through Hungary to Western Europe, he spoke of the danger that Muslim migrants would wash away Hungary’s traditional Christian culture. Now that there are far fewer migrants, that rhetoric no longer works and, according to many observers, he is apparently looking for another victim with a view to the elections early next year. Now it is the so-called “LGBT ideology” that threatens to wash away traditional family values.

And there is a common thread between the two. In Orbán’s view, they are imposed from Brussels and would even be directed by multi-billionaire Soros, even though there are no real concrete indications for this supposed grand conspiracy.
