Many Hamburgers will not have liked that after waking up on Wednesday morning: no light, no radio, the coffee machine was not working. The reason: a power failure in several districts of the Hanseatic city. The energy supplier was in constant use.
Many households in Barmbek-Nord, Winterhude and Bramfeld were left without electricity early on Wednesday morning. Around 5.40 a.m., Stromnetz Hamburg reported a supply interruption in the districts.
The energy supplier immediately sent employees to the affected areas to rectify the disruption. After three hours, the current should have flowed everywhere again.
