Press photo of Huawei P30 Pro confirmed the drop-shaped notch and an array of four modules near the camera

The press photos of the Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro smartphones appeared on the Web, published by the WinFuture resource. New items are expected to be presented on March 26 in Paris.

The new smartphones at the top of the screen instead of a wide notch for the front camera, which was the last year’s models of the company, have a drop-like cut-out, and at the bottom of the front panel the frame is almost imperceptible. In this regard, they have virtually no space under the display for a fingerprint scanner, so most likely it will be built into the screen. However, at the moment it is not clear whether it is optical or ultrasonic.

As an additional option compared to the younger model, the Huawei P30 Pro has an OLED display with curved edges, giving it a slightly more refined look.

As for the back of the case, the design of the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro is largely based on the design of last year's duet Huawei P20 with a vertical arrangement of cameras in the upper left corner. However, there are some differences.

Earlier it was reported that Huawei P30 Pro will receive an array of four modules «Leica Quad Camera». The smartphone really has four sensors. According to WinFuture, one of them is equipped with a tenfold optical zoom, another one can be a ToF sensor used to measure the depth of field.

The younger model Huawei P30, it seems, will have “only” three cameras on the rear panel and there is no ToF sensor.

Renders also confirmed three color options for smartphones – gradient blue, darker aquamarine and grayish black.
