Carol Frontman opened the show by taking a cheeky swipe at Simon Cowell and joking about Meghan Markle and Prince's Harry's wedding in May.
She presented the star-studded awards in a silky purple gown, which featured sparkly detailing at the side.
Her brunette locks were styled in loose waves and her eyes glistened with smokey eye make-up.
And it seems Carol stunned viewers with both appearance and opening monologue.
Those tuning into Pride of Britain Awards are rushing to Twitter.
One fan wrote: "I'm sure @carolvorders looks better every year. How does she do it ?! #PrideOfBritain. "
Another added: "Carol Blimey #prideofbritain #prideofbritainawards."
A third shared: "Frontman looks younger than she did 20 years ago #prideofbritain."
"#PrideOfBritain @carolvorders looking at fire as always .. Carol .. sharing is caring," someone else wrote on Twitter.
Carol, who has presented the awards since 1999, spoke about the importance of the ceremony earlier today.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain, she is urged to tune into the show tonight.
She said it featured winners who were full of "goodness, love and kindness".
Carol, 57, explained: "The purpose of Pride of Britain is to highlight the people who are full of goodness and love and who are very courageous.
"The incredible divers who rescued the Thai boys from the cave earlier this year.
"There are all different people who are celebrated.
"It's the most wonderful uplifting things to do."
Following Carol's opening tonight, the first recipient of a Pride Of Britain Award was teen Joe Rowlands.
Joe helped to save his life by resuscitating him after they capsized while kayaking off the Anglesey coast.
The 13-year-old dragged his father to nearby rocks before reviving him.
Pride Of Britain airs tonight on ITV at 8pm.
