Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will visit Moscow next week. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, reports TASS .
By data “Rusarminfo”, Pashinyan will attend the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup on June 14.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin invited all heads of countries participating in the meeting of the Higher Eurasian Economic Council in Sochi, for the World Cup in Russia. The first meeting between Pashinyan and Putin took place in May in Sochi. Pashinyan said that in the Armenian society there is a consensus on the need to develop relations with Russia.
Pashinyan became prime minister on May 8. Prior to that, he led protests against the appointment of ex-president Serzh Sargsyan to the post of head of government, who eventually resigned. The new Cabinet was formed by May 12.
