65 car sharing cars, including 20 environmentally friendly e-cars at eleven tim-Mobility node in Graz: No wonder that “tim” is enjoying ever greater popularity. Prominent new customer: Diocesan Bishop Wilhelm Krautwaschl is using the innovative offer of Holding Graz with immediate effect. “Recently it has been shown more and more often that I don’t need my own car. So I handed it in in May and am happy that the city of Graz is making offers like tim available. In the sense of responsibility for creation, I like to use an environmentally friendly rental car for private trips, ”said the bishop about his motives.
Six new and environmentally friendly VW ID.3s make free parking possible
Mark Perz, Director of Mobility & Leisure at Holding Graz: “We have just added six ultra-modern VW ID.3s to the fleet and are making these e-vehicles available to customers at the Andreas-Hofer-Platz, Jakominigürtel and Hasnerplatz locations” . Another treat for customers:
More than 2,200 customers at 11 locations
A tim location was recently opened in a lively Grazer Platz on Griesplatz. Perz: “This year, in addition to the eleven existing multimodal tim nodes in Graz, two further locations in Reininghaus and one in the Smart City will follow in autumn. There are currently 65 car sharing cars including rental cars and around 45 e-taxis available to customers in Graz. “
Over 1,000,000 kilometers covered with the e-vehicle fleet
Holding Graz CEO Wolfgang Malik: “More than 60,000 bookings since the opening of the first tim location confirm the path we have chosen. Holding Graz operates with “tim” one of the leading car sharing offers in Austria with over 1,000,000 kilometers covered with the e-vehicle fleet. In car sharing, too, there is enormous potential to decisively improve air quality with emission-free drive systems. With tim, we have succeeded in implementing an environmentally friendly mobility offer that has generated a total of 128 tonnes of CO since 2016 due to the distance traveled electrically2 could save. “
All mobility nodes offer public charging stations and connect walking, cycling and public transport with alternatives to your own car, such as car sharing (also electric), rental cars and e-taxis. The cars offered as part of tim are not exclusively electric and can also be used beyond the greater Graz area. Thus, tim also covers the conventional need for long-term use and can be used for weekend trips or vacations. Seven tim nodes have e-taxi parking spaces, and there is also a cargo bike at Schillerplatz. In addition, there are four locations in the Graz city area exclusively with car sharing.
