PS5, “Play! Play! Play!” Event announced with Elden Ring (and an exclusive)

Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia has just announced a new PlayStation event dedicated to Japanese fans of PS5, which will take place this weekend.

The presentation will be the right opportunity to summarize and discover more closely some new titles coming out on PS5 and PS4, among which stand out in particular Elden Ring e Horizon Forbidden West, the eagerly awaited PlayStation exclusive that will launch next year.

It is therefore a new appointment with the event that already in March had allowed players to discover new details about Resident Evil Village e Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade: also in this case they will be present a great exclusive and a title particularly anticipated third party.

It shouldn’t be there Gran Turismo 7, another big one exclusively on PlayStation which should also include procedural worlds.

The event “Play! Play! Play!»Will be held in live streaming on YouTube and will give the opportunity to discover details on some of the most anticipated titles for the PlayStation consoles: the presentation will focus in particular on Dragon Quest X Rise of the Five Tribes Offline, Elden Ring e Horizon Forbidden West (via Gematsu).

In the case of Elden Ring, barring surprises, no particular news should emerge, but they will come summarized all the information currently released on FromSoftware’s next work and there will be one in-depth discussion on what fans can expect.

PlayStation fans can also expect more details on Horizon Forbidden West: Just like the FromSoftware title, presenters will be able to learn more about the news which will be introduced in the sequel, based on information and gameplay already revealed previously.

The real news will concern instead Dragon Quest X Rise of the Five Tribes Offline, the serverless version of the popular chapter that for the first time it will show itself in gameplay with Square Enix producer Takuma Shiraishi.

In addition to these three main titles, they will also be featured new information regarding the following PlayStation video games:

  • Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2
  • Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles
  • Genshin Impact
  • Knives Out: EXTREME
  • Call of Duty: Vanguard
  • Earth Defense Force 6

PlayStation Japan has already announced that Knives Out EXTREME will be launched on console in 2022 on Japanese territory: however, it is not clear whether the new battle royale inspired by PUBG it will also be released on our territory.

The presentation will be available on October 16th at 1pm Italian time: Although the initiative is reserved for Japanese players, you can tune in and watch the event on the official PlayStation Japan YouTube channel.

There should therefore be no official news yet regarding a great remake coming to PlayStation, which could be the rumored chapter of Metal Gear Solid.

According to what has been declared so far by PlayStation Japan, the presentation will focus exclusively on video games: therefore, we should not mention the PS5 hardware and what currently makes consoles frustrating.

The PlayStation CEO, however, recently stated that he is proud of what PS5 has achieved so far, also highlighting how gaming is becoming ubiquitous.
