JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono said his party plans to adjust toll rates.
He said this was done in view of the revival of the national economy and the new regulations regarding the price of fuel oil (BBM).
“If the toll rates are due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I am a bit impatient (increasing toll rates), now the economy has moved, according to the rules, according to inflation, we will try to adjust them (toll rates),” Basuki said when met after reviewing the Ciawi Toll Road. -Sukabumi Section 2, Jalan Tenjo Ayu, Sukabumi, West Java, Tuesday (20/9/2022).

However, Basuki said, the toll tariff adjustment would take into account the ability of the community as seen from the survey results.
“During the adjustment willingness to payIt’s still below what we always survey, we’ll adjust it,” he said.

Furthermore, Basuki said, the adjustment of toll tariffs will affect toll services and the investment climate.
“Hopefully we’ll see, so far I’ve sometimes complained about violating the law, but as long as I’m defending the community,” he said.
