American company comes to invest in Rajasthan Royals with crores of money. New York-based Tiger Global is all set to invest in Rajasthan Royals.

According to a report by Economics Times, Tiger Global will invest $40 million (about Rs. 332 crore) in Rajasthan Royals. With that, the value of the team will increase to 650 million dollars (about 5383 crore rupees).

Tiger Global is a company that has invested in companies like Flipkart, Zomato and Ola. Tiger Global also has an investment in online fantasy sports company Dream Sports. Dream Sports is the company behind the Dream XI fantasy game.

A report by the Economics Times suggests that Tiger Global Investment has also held talks with some other clubs in IPL Twenty20 cricket.

However, Rajasthan Royals is the most likely investment for Tiger Sports. UK-based Emerging Media is the current parent company of Rajasthan Royals.

Manoj Badela-led Emerging Media owns 60 percent of Rajasthan Royals. In 2021, American company Redbird invested in Rajasthan Royals. With that, the value of the club increased to 250 million dollars (about 2071 crore rupees).
