The family of businessman Raouf Ghabbour, who passed away today, Wednesday, after a struggle with pancreatic cancer, announced the date and location of his funeral.
The funeral is scheduled to take place next Saturday, November 12, 2022, at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbasiya at 2:00 pm, according to what the family announced.
It was also decided that the funeral would be held on the same day, at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbasiya, at 6 pm.
Ghabbour started his career after studying medicine by working in the family company specialized in the trade of auto spare parts, and occupied a prominent position in the tire sector within the company, then obtained exclusive distribution contracts for international brands.
Ghabbour became independent and established his own companies, and over the past years, he succeeded in developing and growing his companies’ businesses, until they became among the leading companies in the field of assembling and distributing cars in the Middle East and North Africa.
Last March, Ghabbour’s doctors informed his family that he was not responding to treatment and that the cancer managed to recover from his body, and that he had only a few months left in this world.
