While Kalimuendo’s loan has just ended, RC Lens is thinking of Denis Bouanga to replace the young Parisian next season.
On the brink of qualifying for the Europa League this season, RC Lens is hoping to catch up next year. But for this, the northern club will have to expand its workforce with few resources. And to believe the local press, the big blow of the Lensois could be the transfer of Denis Bouanga from AS Saint-Étienne. A safe bet in Ligue 1 for a few seasons now, the Gabonese international would be in the sights of the Blood and Gold to compensate for the departure of young Arnaud Kalimuendo, on loan for one season by PSG.
Author of 6 goals and 7 assists with the Greens this season, Bouanga could leave the Saint-Etienne club this summer in the event of an offer of around 10 million euros. A sum that Lens would be ready to pay for the 26-year-old striker, who already knows coach Franck Haise well, for having rubbed shoulders with him when the two men were at FC Lorient.
