RC Lens-US Maubeuge (6-1): a resounding victory

Published on 03/18/2023 To 18h42

Defeated at Croix last weekend (2-0), Vincent Carlier’s players received US Maubeuge this Saturday. If the meeting had started well thanks to the opener of the score of Ismaëlo Ganiou (1-0, 9 ‘), it took a completely different turn with no less than three changes made by the artesian coach following injuries. Game facts that testify to the commitment of the first period. Shortly before the break, US Maubeuge joined Racing on the scoreboard by scoring from a corner (1-1, 45’+2). Back from the locker room, the Sang et Or took control of the game and completely dominated their subject. The goals followed in the 56th minute of play. Adrien Louveau first (2-1, 56′), then Solomon Kessi (3-1, 59′), Nolan Bonte (4-1, 69′), Ayanda Sishuba (5-1, 88’) and finally Mouhamed Dosso (6-1, 90’+1) follow one another to offer great success to the N3.

An eleventh well-deserved and resolutely collective victory of the season, which puts Racing back on track. See you next Saturday for a trip to Compiègne.
