MADRID – Real Madrid have made official on Thursday the hiring of Brazilian defender Éder Militão, from Porto, for the next six seasons.
Militão, who signed last summer for the Portuguese team, is one of the most promising centers of the old continent and only 21 years had become a key piece for the current champions of the Portuguese league, Porto.
Under the command of Sérgio Conceição, Militão has played 34 games this term, in which he has scored three goals, and has stood out for his versatility to play in the axis of defense and also on the right side.
It stands out for its speed to cut, its placement and its ability to anticipate.
The São Paulo footballer, who has been named best defense of the Portuguese championship for five consecutive months, will join the first team of Real Madrid starting next season.
