“I am relieved to say that my players and staff can fully focus on the new season now,” Koeman explained on his official Twitter account.
“The last few weeks have been intense, but I am glad that President Joan Laporta has given me his support and that calm has returned.
“Everyone’s focus at the club is the same: build a winning Barcelona and achieve success.”

“We will continue the current contract owned by Ronald Koeman,” Laporta said in a statement Thursday.
“We are very pleased that the discussions resulted in a unity of standards on what to do during the season.”
