Remembering the Grenfell Tower, two years later

A garden, a quiet walk and a memorial mosaic – these are just a few of the community's projects dedicated to the victims of the fire at Grenfell Tower.

The projects are designed to ensure that the disaster does not disappear from memory, and provide the surviving victims and their families with a place to pay tribute, according to the church.

Other programs encourage people to talk to each other.

72 people died when a fire broke out on June 14, 2017, just before 01:00 CEST in the 24-story block of flats in North Kensington, West London.
