Research funds for universities reach a new record

Second place: 67.3 million for the Graz Med Uni

Med Uni Graz was able to generate an unbelievable 67.3 million euros in R&D revenue last year. That is significantly more than in previous years – in 2020 it was 65.5 million euros, the year before 58.3 million euros. “Thanks to its unique research infrastructure and close ties with companies in the life sciences sector, Med Uni Graz offers a dynamic environment for competitive science and sees itself as an innovative partner for forward-looking cutting-edge research, which is also reflected in the continuous increase in our third-party funding,” says Med Uni Rector Hellmut Samonigg.
