Residents of Ukraine are entitled to 6,600 hryvnias for each family member. How to get a

Only those residents of Ukraine who have not yet received payments from other international organizations will be able to receive UAH 6,600 from the American organization HIAS.

How informs Charitable Foundation “Right to zahist”, first of all, assistance is intended for victims of hostilities and migrants.

Who will receive payments

Payments will be able to receive residents of Ukraine affected by hostilities in the Kyiv region: Bucha, Irpen, Brovary, and other settlements. From November, payments will also apply to residents of the Kharkiv region.

6600 hryvnia for each family member

The assistance will amount to 6,600 hryvnias for each family member. The following categories of people can apply:

  • families of migrants who moved in the last 30 days;
  • households affected by sudden shelling;
  • families who have lost a family member.

For migrants with children

Also, payments from HIAS can be received by IDPs who moved more than 30 days ago, but have a low income – less than UAH 5,400 per person during the last 3 months. This is possible under one of the following conditions:

  • have two or more children;
  • there are persons with disabilities in the family;
  • the household is run by one person (spouse or woman);
  • the family includes pregnant women and women with infants under 2 years of age;
  • there are elderly people in the family (from 55 years old).

Where to apply for help

You can ask for help at the registration center at the address: Brovary, st. Independence 5 (entrance from the courtyard) on weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00.

For registration, it is necessary to provide passport data, tax number, bank account IBAN number, as well as other documents confirming vulnerability categories (medical certificates, birth certificates of children).

When applying, all family members must be present in person with original documents.
