Meanwhile, lawyer A when interviewed said that the one who knocked down UU’s house was UU’s brother named Entoh.

Then, how did it actually happen?

Garut Police Chief AKBP Wirdhanto Hadicaksono explained that this case began when Law, who was the reporter, borrowed Rp 1.3 million from A.

However, since January 2022, Law is no longer able to pay the installments and interest on loans of 35 percent to A.

Since that January, Invite and his wife went to Bandung to look for work to pay off their debts and interest.

Then on September 10, 2022, Undang received news that his house had been demolished by A, until on September 15, Undang returned home and saw that his house had been leveled to the ground.

Law then reported the case to the police. There were two cases reported, namely the destruction of houses and embezzlement of land.

The police conducted an investigation until nine people were named suspects, including A and Law’s brother.

Wirdhanto said that before carrying out the demolition, A had made a transaction to purchase land and houses whose ownership documents were in the name of Law with Law’s older brother who is currently a suspect in embezzlement.

“The law’s older brother carried out the land sale and purchase transaction without the knowledge of the law. Therein lies the main problem, so that Brother A feels ownership and orders the residents to demolish it,” he said, during a press conference at the Garut Police Headquarters, Tuesday (20/9/2022) .

The debt from Law to A amounted to Rp 15 million even though it only borrowed Rp 1.3 million. Because, A gives very high interest. (Garut Contributing Author, Ari Maulana Karang | Editor Gloria Setyvani Putri)
