Fan club presale: Wednesday, September 28, 2022, 10:00 a.m
General presale start: Friday, September 30th, 2022, 10 a.m

Robbie Williams will be making a guest appearance at the LANXESS arena for the first time on February 5, 2023 as part of his “XXV” tour. The world star, who rose to fame in the 90s as a member of the boy band Take That, looks back on 25 years in the limelight with the album. His fans can take part in his big arena tour next year. The concert is the only one in NRW.

When Robbie Williams’ new album “XXV” was released in September 2022, one suddenly realized: It’s been 25 damn years since he left Take That behind and, after a wild start, suddenly became one of the biggest solo pop stars in Europe.

Robbie has now sold more than 85 million albums around the world, with 13 of his albums hitting #1 in the UK, previously only managed by Elvis. He has held the record for “most sold tickets in one day by an artist” (1.6 million) since November 2005 and has played live to 375,000 people at Knebworth. That put him well ahead of Take That and his ex-colleagues, which may have played a small part in the decision to bring Williams back on board later. But these are all just numbers. What really underlines his greatness are his continuous releases of world hits such as: “Angels”, “Feel”, “Rock DJ”, “She’s The One” and of course “Let Me Entertain You” – Robbie Williams’ statement turned into a song.

On “XXV” Robbie Williams throws himself once more into his complete works. With everything he has and with a fantastic orchestral sound – playing arrangements by experts and companions Jules Buckley, Guy Chambers and Steve Sidwel. Williams himself says he “re-worked, re-imagined, and re-loved” his songs. What particularly appealed to him was that he had to compete “with his much younger self” in the new recordings. But that would have spurred him on even more.

The range of songs extends from the world hits mentioned above to rightly new pieces like “Lost”, which was only created last autumn and means a lot to him personally. We are very pleased that Robbie Williams will perform this very special complete work live. And of course he will do the same in Germany – where he has always been loved at least as much as in his British homeland.
On February 5th, 2023, world star Robbie Williams will be giving an exclusive NRW concert in the LANXESS arena.
