Roman Reigns absent de Hell in a Cell 2022

As we know, Roman Reigns will do fewer shows now. The undisputed WWE / Universal champion has reportedly signed a new contract allowing him to do fewer dates, especially in terms of Live Events. But it would also concern television shows since it is announced for no SmackDown in July and August.

Except that it doesn’t stop there because Roman Reigns shouldn’t do all the Premium Live Events… starting with the next one! Indeed, Dave Meltzer informs us that le Tribal Chief should not be present during Hell in a Cell, an event to be held on June 5 from Chicago. On the other hand, the journalist affirms that Roman Reigns will do well this summer’s PLEs, namely Money in the Bank and SummerSlam on July 3 & 31, then Clash at the Castle on September 3.

For the little refresher, the only Premium Live Event Roman Reigns didn’t take part in in 2021 was also Hell in a Cell, but he wasn’t a two-time champion at that time.

For the time being, Roman Reigns’ absence from Hell in a Cell this year has not been confirmed by WWEbut the wrestler is not listed among the Superstars announced for the event on the official website of the company and he was removed from the poster:
