JOHNSON CITY – Rosario Moreno, 55 years of age, of Johnson, KS, died on Friday, January 10, 2020, at her house in Johnson. She was born on June 8, 1964, in La Laborcita De San Javier, Mexico, daughter of Cayetano and Benita (Perez) Gutierrez.

Rosario grew up in Mexico and married Francisco Moreno, the Sr., On April 9, 1988. They moved to San Juan where they had two children. The family then settled in Johnson in 1995 and had one other son. Rosario worked at Fare County. She enjoyed being a homemaker there.

Her husband, Francisco Sr, lives in the town; family, Francisco Moreno, Jr. and wife, Isabel of Liberals, and Alexis Moreno and his wife, Yazmin of Liberals, and Aron Moreno and his wife, Lupe of Johnson; brothers, Javier Gutierrez and Cayento Gutierrez, Jr., Las Vegas, Nevada both; sisters, Gloria Gutierrez de Monte Vista, Colorado, Aide Flores de Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Norma Miramontes of Evansville, Wisconsin; and four grandchildren.

Her parents die beforehand; sister, Elsa Mascareñas; and grandchildren, Yadira Moreno and Jordan Moreno.

The ambition and roster service is Monday, January 13, 2020, at 6 p.m. in Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson. A mass of burial will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at ten o'clock, at St Anthony's Catholic Church in Liberal, KS., With the Honorable Prakash Kola. Burial will continue at the Liberal Cemetery in Liberals. Friends can call on Monday, January 13, 2020, from 2 pm. T in the Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson, Ks.
