In Dubai, the RTA opened a four-lane bridge connecting Al Manama and Al Maidan roads. The 328-meter-long bridge was built as part of the Dubai-Al Ain road development. Meanwhile, the RTA said that 10,000 cameras have been installed for traffic safety related to the expo.

The new bridge, which connects Al Manama and Al Maidan roads, will be able to handle 16,000 vehicles per hour. With the opening of the four-lane bridge, the travel time on this route will be reduced. The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (DRTA) has said that with the completion of the bridge, 85% of the work on the Dubai-Align Road upgrade will be completed. The road development will benefit about 1.5 million people. Six more bridges will be constructed as part of the project. With the completion of the road connecting Ras Al Khor Road, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Road and Emirates Road, the traffic will be easier. At the same time, the RTA revealed the arrangements for traffic safety related to the Expo venue. The monitoring is being carried out at seven centers, including the Dubai Intelligent Traffic Systems Center and the Rail Operations Control Center. It monitors 1700 buses, 10,000 taxis, 54 metro stations and 11 tram stations. Authorities say the RTA monitors every movement with tens of thousands of cameras and radar systems.
