Russia criticizes Finland’s plans to join NATO and public coffers can count on additional tax revenue – SWR Aktuell

Russia has criticized Finland’s plans to join NATO. Moscow said: If Finland gives up its neutral status, Russia will see this as a threat to its security. Russia would then be forced to react – not only in technical and military terms.

According to the new tax estimate, the federal, state and local governments can expect additional revenue of 220.4 billion euros by 2026. This was announced by the Federal Ministry of Finance. Finance Minister Christian Lindner (FDP) points out that this estimate does not take into account tax cuts or risks from the war in Ukraine.
