VIDEO Russia has tested the Zirkon hypersonic missile: It is one of the most modern weapons developed
“We would like to remind Pentagon spokesman John Kirbi that the potential deployment of any supersonic missiles in Europe will be extremely destabilizing,” said the Russian embassy on Twitter.

The short flight time of these missiles would leave Russia only a short time to make a decision and increase the likelihood of unintentional conflict. Kirby had previously said at the briefing that the US Department of Defense was aware of the Zirkon supersonic missile test. According to Russia, such weapons can have a destabilizing effect and pose a risk because they are capable of carrying a nuclear charge.
Russia announced on Monday that it had conducted another test of its hypersonic Zirkon missile, one of Russia’s most advanced weapons. The missile was, according to a statement from the Ministry of Defense, a trial detonation from the frigate Admiral Gorshkov, hitting a designated target on the Barents Sea coast off the northwest coast of Russia.
