Member of the Moscow Half Marathon Vladimir Korchevsky died during the race. This is reported by Telegram-channel 112.
51-year-old Korchevsky became ill when he ran along the Luzhnetskaya Embankment. An ambulance crew arrived at the scene. Doctors tried to reanimate the man, but he died on the spot. The cause of death is not specified.
The Moscow Half Marathon is Russia's most massive start, held for the sixth year in a row. The race takes place along the central embankments of the capital. The track is measured and certified by the Association of International Marathons and Runs (AIMS).
