Sadio Mane insists he is happy at Liverpool

Senegal striker Sadio Mane says he is happy at Liverpool. Mane’s statement comes amid reports that Bayern Munich and Barcelona are interested in him.

Speaking to Sky Sports after his side ‘2-1 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League yesterday, Mane said he was “very happy” at Liverpool.

“Yes, I’m happy to be here, I’m going to be happier when we win trophies! But I’m trying to enjoy every moment and help my teammates. I think the boys (teammates) make it so much easier for me. I’m so happy,” Mane said.

Mane, who joined Liverpool in 2016, has only one year left on his current contract with the English club. However, 90min has revealed that he will be in contract renewal talks with Liverpool Mane at the end of this season and the player is keen to stay at the club.

At the same time, Liverpool’s decisive victory over Aston Villa, just behind Manchester City, in the Premier League. Joel Matte scored in the sixth minute and Mane in the 65th minute for Liverpool against Aston Villa, who took the lead through Douglas Lewis in the third minute.
