Salim Ben Seghir will not be joining Bordeaux, as the Ligue 2 club has decided not to pursue the young winger, leaving him in an uncomfortable situation with only 10 days left in the transfer window.
According to media reports Girondinfos, Salim Ben Seghir was not selected by Bordeaux. Second in Ligue 2, the Girondins were looking for reinforcements, but did not choose the Marseillais.
Ben Seghir has only played two games with OM, the first against Toulouse in Ligue 1 in December, and the second against Hyres in the Coupe de France a few weeks ago. He only has 8 minutes of play under his belt.
With the road seemingly blocked to him at Marseille, a loan until the end of the season would have allowed Ben Seghir to gain playing time and progress. However, time is running out and the transfer window closes in less than two weeks.
