Salta has the Salvador Mazza border crossing and the Martín Miguel de Güemes airport as safe corridors

The Government is advancing in the development of the plan to reactivate tourism in the province, within this framework Governor Gustavo Sáenz timely sent a request to the Nation for Salta to have safe corridors that allow the start of the stage of reactivation of international tourism.

After the signing of the Administrative Decision by the Chief of Staff of the Nation, Juan Manzur, Salta currently has two authorized tourist corridors. The first is land in Salvador Mazza – Yacuiba and an air one through the Martín Miguel de Güemes airport.

“This qualification is key to continue working together with the private sector in continuing to strengthen the recovery and growth of tourism in Salta. With the recovery of national tourism, the Pre-trip program and the opening of borders, we estimate a very good summer season ”, indicated the Minister of Tourism and Sports Mario Peña.

Tourists visiting the province from abroad must have the complete vaccination scheme (with a minimum notice of 14 days), and present a negative PCR within 72 hours prior to entering the Argentine Republic. Those under 18 years of age who come with their family without vaccinations, should not undergo quarantine and will have the possibility of being vaccinated in Argentina.
