Samarinda Becomes Candidate to Host the 2022 President’s Cup, Borneo FC Quickly Prepares

BOLASPORT.COM – Borneo FC management is speeding up preparations to become a candidate to host a pre-season tournament titled 2022 President’s Cup.

The President’s Cup is being pursued by PSSI as a warm-up event before wading through the 2022/2023 Liga 1.

According to the plan, the 2022 President’s Cup will be held at the end of June.

The city of Samarinda, the headquarters of Borneo FC was chosen to be one of the candidates for the venue for the pre-season tournament.

This was conveyed by the management of Borneo FC when visiting the Samarinda City Hall office, Friday (13/5/2022).

During the short visit, Borneo FC management was represented by team manager Dandri Dauri and COO Ponaryo Astaman.

They were greeted directly by the Mayor of Samarinda, Andi Harun, who was accompanied by the secretary of the Samarinda City Youth, Sports and Tourism Office.

Borneo FC management explained that the City of Tepian was appointed by PSSI as a candidate to host the 2022 Presidential Cup.

To welcome the pre-season tournament for the League 1 contestant clubs, Borneo FC reported to the mayor regarding the standards and conditions given by PSSI to host.
