Samsung: a 200 MP sensor for the Galaxy S23 Ultra?

Samsung would develop a new sensor of 200 MP which this time would be intended to be integrated on its next high-end smartphones and in particular on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

See you in 2023?

Unlike last year’s ISOCELL HP1, this new iteration called ISOCELL HP3 would be much better optimized at the software level, which would make it possible to exploit the 200 MP of the sensor. According to a report from the site ETNews, the development would have been completed and the production should be launched quickly so that it can show its full capabilities in the Galaxy S23 Ultra. It would also be divided between Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Samsung Electronics, the two divisions of the Korean group.

For the time being, we have to content ourselves with these few meager pieces of information, but we will no doubt have additional details in the weeks and months to come.
