Samsung copied iPhone X function: successor to the Galaxy S9 with Notch?

Some find them disturbing, others find them beautiful. Many smartphone manufacturers are already putting a notch at the top of the screen called “Notch”. The prime example is that iPhone X in which Apple uses the notch to place the handset and the 3D face recognition Face ID to unlock the device. But also many Android devices, such as the Huawei P20 or the upcoming OnePlus 6, already have a Notch or should receive it soon. As Android Authority citing the Dutch website Mobielkopen Samsung reportedly filed a patent application claiming multiple designs for a Notch smartphone. At the top of the screen of the device pictured, there is a recess in which the handset and a front camera are supposedly housed. This gives the smartphone an even thinner frame than that Galaxy S9 , Neither the front nor on the back of a fingerprint sensor can be seen, which suggests that this is either integrated in the display, or a face recognition à la iPhone X also for Samsung in question.
