Samsung Galaxy S20 receives 5 stars at the VCX Forum – Samsung Newsroom Argentina

The new Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy S20 +, which will soon arrive in Argentina, received the highest score in image quality and other characteristic features of the line

The new Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and S20 + received top marks in the VCX Forum, a global association that evaluates products according to user experience. And it is no coincidence: the new Galaxy S20 series of smartphones feature innovative cameras, with the largest sensors that Samsung has released to date and Artificial Intelligence to provide impressive image quality.

The VCX (Valued Camera eXperience) Forum was created to develop and maintain an independent, objective and transparent standard for evaluating smartphone cameras. VCX is a non-profit foundation that brings together manufacturers and producers of mobile phone camera components, ISP / chipset providers, image quality labs, academic researchers and other mobile stakeholders from around the world. In the VCX evaluation, the Galaxy S20 Ultra scored the best in the image quality category and ranked first in the VCX score; while the Galaxy S20 + also stood out with an excellent score, as seen in the table.

The Galaxy S20 series was developed to transform the way the user captures and experiences the world. Designed with a completely new camera system to take the best shot and make the best use of the moment, the resolution is significantly higher, allowing for more detailed images and more flexibility for editing, cropping and zooming. The S20 and S20 + have a 64MP camera, while the S20 Ultra offers a 108MP camera. Another benefit to note is that smartphones offer image quality even in low light situations thanks to the larger sensors that provide more light absorption.

In addition, the devices feature Space Zoom technology, a combination of Hybrid Optical Zoom and Super Resolution Zoom, which uses Artificial Intelligence. The S20 Ultra can therefore zoom up to 100x, with very little loss of quality to provide a clearer view.

The high rating reflects the quality of the image that the user receives, as the VCX Forum works with its members to provide accurate indicators and targets for quality and performance. To see the full VCX score:
