It is hard to imagine how many things can be put in a boat, although certainly large, of 40 meters. Surely, working on an architecture that runs over five bridges allows geometries full of space, comfort and surprises. L’X-Space of Sanlorenzo exactly this: a superyacht, says the shipyard’s presentation, designed for expert owners who love to explore faraway destinations, without sacrificing the unmistakable elegance of the lines.
The living area and the collapsible balconies
Signed by Studio Zuccon International Project, with interiors designed by Piero Lissoni, the new creature from Sanlorenzo – on which the shipyard specialists are still working – immediately strikes for a series of proposals, starting with the stern main deck on which an 18 square meter swimming pool set in a living area of rare size and further expandable by 18 square meters thanks to the collapsible balconies and the natural extension of the internal area makes a fine show.
The wheelhouse and the master cabin
To ensure maximum privacy for the owner, the wheelhouse was brought to the Bridge Deck. In this way, the Upper deck becomes totally private: it has a study, living room and a large master cabin overlooking a private deck at the bow with a sunbed area equipped with a swimming pool. The brightness of the rooms guaranteed in every space by huge windows.
Up to 18 people on board
Almost 44 meters long and 9 meters wide, with a tonnage of 495 GT (gross tonnage), the X-Space can comfortably accommodate ten people, with a crew of 8. The 50,000 liters of fuel that can be stored in the tanks power the two MAN engines 12V 1066 kW, which guarantee a speed of 15 knots.
