Reality TV star Sara Kulka has revealed that she is currently being treated in a psychiatric clinic. Among other things, she processed her childhood there.
Model Sara Kulka (31) is currently inpatient in a psychiatric clinic.
She shared this news on Instagram on Tuesday.
While the mother of two emphasizes that the therapy helps her a lot, she thanks her followers for the attention and love at the same time.
“Instagram kept me afloat for a long time,” admits the 31-year-old.
Former “Germany’s Next Top Model” candidate Sara Kulka (31) has always spoken openly with her followers on Instagram about her psychological problems. It was mostly about her depression and panic attacks. On Tuesday, the mother of two surprised her community when she announced in an Insta story that she was currently in inpatient treatment. “I’m in an acute psychiatric clinic that helps me a lot,” says Sara.
The 31-year-old also denied rumors that she was currently in a rehabilitation clinic: “What I’m doing here is not to relax, but to work on myself”. The treatment focuses particularly on her difficult childhood and “some things from the last time,” says the model.
Do you have or hat someone you know has a mental illness?
So she could allude to the death of GNTM colleague Kasia Lenhardt, with whom she was close friends. The model was found dead in her apartment in February at the age of 25 after a public mud fight with ex-boyfriend Jérôme Boateng (32). External fault was excluded.
She wants to learn to set limits
Sara further explains that during treatment she learns to set clear boundaries in interpersonal relationships. This was difficult for her even as a child, which is why “certain assholes” often ignored her. Today she finds it particularly difficult to talk about these experiences.
Her therapy is exhausting, but above all helpful: “Sometimes I’m completely exhausted after a conversation, sometimes I’m enlightened.” Her therapist would always hit the nail on the head with her. She also promises updates as soon as she feels able to do so again.
The fact that she has not contacted her 276,000 Instagram followers in the past few days does not mean that she wants to withdraw from social media. «Instagram kept me afloat for an extremely long time. If I hadn’t had this platform, I might have become depressed earlier, “admits the reality TV star and thanks her fans:” I missed this attention and love in my childhood. “
